Happy first day of Spring! The signs of spring are everywhere in the park, just look at the forest floor. This is one of our favorites, it’s called trout lily. You’ll find it on the hillside of the Shoop Trail.

There's still room for more volunteers for our Stern Preserve Community Work Day, tomorrow from 1:30-4:00. We'll provide the tools and snacks, you come with some clothes and shoes you don't mind getting dirty. We will primarily be removing Amur Honeysuckle using loppers during this work day.
