A new pavilion in Stanbery ParkOur goal is to build upon the current assets of our community, enhancing our residents’ quality of life. The new pavilion will allow our residents more alternatives for social gatherings and increasing the number of events. This will attract more people and portray the civic experiences for which Cincinnati is known. GoFundMe
More about the pavilion
The pavilion will be available for rental therefore contributing to its own up keep and maintenance, ensuring long term viability.
Teamwork with City of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Parks, the Stanbery Park Advisory Council, we are the steward of our natural resources in Stanbery Park for our community to explore nature. The pavilion enhances our park for current residents, potential residents and future generations, creating a welcoming civic atmosphere. The Stanbery Park Advisory Council will be working with the architect/project manager to incorporate “green” energy efficient and renewable energy products.
How did it all happen?
With the assistance and support of State Rep. Tom Brinkman, we applied and were awarded a $360,000 grant to build a pavilion which will have a performance/multi-use stage, storage for the Pumpkin Chuck trebuchets, a meeting room, and a family/accessible rest room.
The grant takes us most of the way, but we need your help to raise an additional $65,000 to outfit the pavilion for all of the events hosted in the park.
One way you can help is to purchase a chance to win 4 tickets to the OSU game on August 31, 2019. Each raffle ticket costs $5 (6 for $25). The tickets have been donated by State Rep. Brinkman and all proceeds will go towards the Kyle Plush Pavilion.
